Breakfast

The menu brings together the dishes it's hard to start a day without: fried doktorskaya sausage, blini with meat and sour cream, blini with tvorog, syrniki, tvorog bake, and porridges: millet with lingonberries, rice with cloudberry jam and oats with prunes. We couldn't resist shakshuka either, inspired by the classic but made with Krakow sausage.

The heartiest section is called Vinegret. Here you'll find hot sandwiches with smoked brisket, potato draniki with sour cream, bacon or crab, courgette draniki with salmon, ayran okroshka with horseradish, big breakfasts with ham or salmon, and pancakes with red, pike or sturgeon caviar. The result is a breakfast where home cooking sits comfortably alongside fine dining.

Meanwhile, the bakery is in full swing. Each morning a generous counter is laid out in the middle of the dining room: puff pastries and sweet buns, our signature honey cake and desserts with seasonal berries. Everything you might want with coffee or champagne, or simply as a reason to drop in for the morning.

“Breakfast is above all a tradition,” says Dmitry Blinov. “We want meeting over it to become a good habit that lasts for years. This is honest food from childhood, from the time when trees seemed like giants.”

At noon Peremena's main menu begins, but the morning carries on for another two hours. Until 14:00 the long breakfast section offers the best-loved morning dishes, which you can order alongside anything from the main menu.
