Concept

“Peremena” is a new restaurant of contemporary Russian cuisine by Duo Band. Its foundation lies in the flavors and products of Russia, with room for both creativity and nostalgia —

but not for clichés or stereotypes.

The menu is a reinterpretation of Russian cuisine that preserves its recognizability while adding new colors and emotions. The base is familiar — dumplings, borscht and pancakes, northern fish, game, berries and grains. On this foundation, like on a sourdough starter, we’ve built a modern mosaic: forshmak made with Murmansk salmon, rabbit kidneys in port wine, beef rib with spelt, and a pie with pork and horseradish ice cream. Desserts are built on unexpected combinations, such as chamomile cheesecake and dill choux pastry.

Duo Band

The first restaurant — Duo Gastrobar on Kirochnaya Street — became the starting point. With an open kitchen, 20 seats and an honest approach, the gastrobistro launched a new format: gastronomy without formality, with democratic pricing and attention to the product.

Today, Duo Band has ten restaurants in St. Petersburg and Dubai, including the twin Duo Gastrobars, which continue to develop the original concept.
